Villaworld Homes by AVID Property Group recognised at Queensland builder awards

Villaworld Homes by AVID Property Group (AVID) has again proven to be an exemplary amongst its peers taking out two award wins at one of the construction industry’s most acclaimed competitions.

The 2023 Housing Industry Association (HIA) – CSR 51st Queensland Housing Awards were announced at an awards evening in Brisbane on Friday 10 November 2023.

AVID, which has a $4.9 billion national property portfolio, won an award for its builder arm, Villaworld Homes and an award for Villaworld Homes development, Sphere Garden Terraces, on the Gold Coast.

AVID’s award wins included:

  • 2023 HIA Queensland Professional Major Builder – Villaworld Homes by AVID
  • Townhouse/Villa Development of the Year – Sphere Garden Terraces

The Queensland Professional Major Builder Award – which recognised AVID’s industry leading practices, high-quality construction, and dedication to customer satisfaction – will now be progressed to the HIA National Awards for judging, which will be announced May 2024.

AVID General Manager Housing Peter Wood said the award wins were a clear indicator of the builder’s commitment to excellence and innovation as well as its dedication to customer satisfaction.

“We are immensely proud to have been acknowledged by HIA Queensland with these awards – which reflect the overall high standard of our housing, our innovative practices and customer first approach,” Mr Wood said.

The HIA QLD awards are another feather in the cap for the builder, having recently been a finalist in the UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence for its Terrace Homes at AVID’s Harmony development on the Sunshine Coast as well as awarded Best Display Home under $500k at the HIA Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Housing Awards for 2023.
