Harmony Construction Update – March 2017

July 14, 2023

Construction is progressing well at Harmony and our March Construction Update is as follows.

For community and residents travelling along Claymore Road, please allow extra travel time to ensure you reach your destination safely and on-time to account for the following activities planned to occur in March:

– Installation of Sewer Rising Main across Claymore Rd
– Kerb construction
– Pavement widening, construction and Asphalt works at Bainbridge Ct, Albany St, Fitzwilliam Dr, Claymore Rd, University Way and Red Cedar St
– Installation of Traffic Signals and Electrical Conduits and the installation of street lights
– Line-marking

Please note that there may be two detours used intermittently in March during work hours only along University Way.

This will not be a permanent detour. The detours will allow our contractors us to facilitate kerb works along University Way.

Click here for details of the proposed road detour.

Potential Road closures:

AVID advises of a potential road closure to occur intermittently throughout March during work hours only along University Way.

This will not be a permanent road closure. Buses will be accepted and escorted through the closure. This will allow our contractors to complete stormwater construction and concrete median islands along University Way.

There will also be lane closures and shoulder closures from time to time at each intersection during March, which facilitate the completion of a number of items including:

– Sewer Rising Main crossing
– Installation of traffic signal and electrical conduits
– Asphalt works at each intersection

Click here for details of proposed road closure.

Most intersections upgrades will be completed by the end of March with testing and commissioning of traffic signals, street lighting and minor tidy up works to be completed in April (Weather permitting).

AVID Property Group would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time and apologise for any inconvenience caused during construction. If you have any questions, please contact the team at harmony@avid.com.au
