Harmony bringing community into focus

November 16, 2023

AVID Property Group (AVID), the visionary behind Palmview’s three-billion-dollar masterplanned community – Harmony – is breaking traditional property development stereotypes by putting greater emphasis on community and connection.

With more than 500 families expected to move into Harmony by mid-2019, AVID is focused on creating a sense of togetherness through clever neighbourhood planning and a calendar of social events that encourages resident participation.

Harmony recently hosted its third Long Table Dinner — the first for 2019 — where they welcomed more than 250 new residents into the community and provided a platform for residents to meet their new neighbours.

AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said welcome events and regular engagement with residents enabled AVID to develop a truly caring community.

“We want our new residents to feel part of the community and there is no better time to get to know your neighbours than when everyone is just moving in,” Mr Harper said.

“We’ve worked hard to bring our budding community together with a number of fun events during the year and a dedicated Community Development Officer – Susana Waldron.

“Our many Harmony Nights events throughout last year also gave our community the chance to see Harmony in a different light, with food trucks, putt-putt and local live music drawing residents to our Harmony Display World for evenings of family fun.”

Mr Harper said the community was growing into a vibrant area that attracted attention from buyers around the country.

“Buyers in other states are seeing that Queensland, in particular the Sunshine Coast, is such a great place to live, with employment opportunities created by the new University and Kawana hospitals, the future Maroochydore CBD and five new schools set to open over the next 10 years,” he said.

“There’s a lot to love, but the fact that our community has been designed to cater for people and families of all ages is hugely attractive to buyers.

“We’re exceptionally proud of the diverse community that has formed in the last year, and can’t wait to see who else will come to call Harmony home in 2019.”

Catering to a variety of lifestyles and budgets, blocks in Harmony’s latest release, Unity 9A, range in size from 250m2 to 450m2 and start from just $228,500 for a 250m2 lot.
